The Autocar Cemetary

These old heaps are parked on the front lawn of an excavating company in Northfield and are a familiar local landmark. Gotta love old trucks and steam shovels as they slowly turn into piles of rust and assimilate back into the earth. I used a variety of lenses on these including fisheye and Lensbaby Composer. It was a little bit bright though...I will go back another day when I have better light and shoot some more of these.

Peter, me again! Neat pictures of the old vehicles!! Too bad they didn't try to save them from extinction,so to speak. But they can live on in your pictures! Nice shots as always! :)

Love the wide angle! I've used something like that while at back to the 50's car shows with great results. Really makes the vehicles come to life, IMO.

Thanks guys! I had fun with it. I have a feeling I will revisit this spot a few more times throughout the seasons and at different times of day. Also will make a nice background for some product shots. :D
